Hi, my name is Jeana, and I’m a single mom to my beautiful 8-week-old baby.

A few months ago, I spent everything I had to buy a car outright so I wouldn’t have a monthly payment. I went to see it alone, and I was taken advantage of. It ended up needing thousands of dollars in repairs. I used every cent I had to make it safe so I could take my newborn to the sitter and get to work.

Yesterday, after finally getting it roadworthy, I was in an accident that totaled the car. My baby was with me. We spent all day and night in the hospital monitoring his blood pressure because it was dangerously high from the crash. I am so grateful he’s okay, but I can’t describe how terrifying it was.

Now I have nothing. No car. No way to get to work or take him to the sitter. I just returned from maternity leave and am trying so hard to keep our life on track. I don’t have good credit. I don’t have family who can help me financially. I have no money for another car.

I’m asking for help, even though it’s so hard to do. Anything you can give will go toward getting a safe, reliable car so I can keep working and provide for my baby. Even sharing this page would mean the world to us.
