Hello friends, family, and kind-hearted Hopeless Believers,

We’re excited to share an incredible journey that we, Griot and Orisha, brothers and founders of Keep Hope Services, have embarked on. It’s a story about hope, creativity, and making a difference. But, we need YOUR help to take this dream to the next level.

The Dream

Keep Hope Services began as a small creative venture to bring stories to life. We started by creating mini-comics, zines, now titled Ta1<Es small but mighty books that allow people to experience new worlds, ideas, and emotions. We’ve always believed in the power of storytelling to inspire, connect, and heal. But as our passion for art grew, so did our vision.

Our ultimate dream has always been to return to our parents’ homeland, The Gambia, and help build a sustainable creative community that empowers the next generation of artists. And now, we’re on the verge of making that dream a reality.

Our Big Vision: Keep Hope University

In order to do this, we’re planning something big: Keep Hope University, an art school designed to uplift, train, and support talented artists who might otherwise struggle to make their mark. We will provide essential resources—art supplies, financial assistance, direction, and a safe space for young creatives to thrive.

But we can’t do this alone. We need your help to fund this transformative project and expand Keep Hope Services into something that can reach hundreds of aspiring artists in The Gambia and beyond. Here’s what we plan to do:

1. Open Keep Hope University:
A school where students can learn everything from drawing and painting to comic creation, graphic design, storytelling, and financial literacy. We’ll provide an immersive curriculum, workshops, mentorship, and hands-on projects that equip students with the skills they need to succeed as professional artists.

2. Hire Local Artists and Educators:
We plan to hire experienced Gambian artists to teach at Keep Hope University, as well as provide employment opportunities for other local creatives. This will help foster a local art scene and give people the chance to pursue their passions without the constraints of financial hardships.

3. Create a Sustainable, Long-term Impact:
Not only will we offer free or low-cost education, but we’ll also supply students with the materials they need—paints, brushes, sketchbooks, and digital tools. Our goal is to help them develop the skills to create beautiful art, build portfolios, and earn income through their work.

4. Support & Expand Keep Hope Services:
With your help, we’ll be able to continue creating our mini-comics and zines, using our stories to raise awareness and support for Gambia’s growing art community. The more we expand, the more artists we can employ, mentor, and showcase.

Why This Matters

In Gambia, there is incredible untapped potential. But many talented individuals face challenges such as limited access to education, training, and resources. Our mission is to change that—by providing tools, mentorship, and opportunities, we can create a sustainable art community that thrives and makes a lasting impact on Gambia’s creative future.

How You Can Help

We’re raising $1,000,000 to get Keep Hope University off the ground. This includes setting up classrooms, hiring qualified instructors, purchasing art supplies, creating a website for student work, and building our first community of talented artists.

Here’s how your contributions will directly support this project:

* $20 can buy a sketchbook and set of pencils for an aspiring artist.

* $200 will provide a full set of art supplies for a student.

* $500 will help fund one month of tuition for a student.

* $1000 will allow us to hire a local Gambian artist to teach and mentor students.

* $1000+ will help us cover the startup costs for the school’s infrastructure, including equipment, classrooms, and space.

* $1500+ will provide students with iPads, however we are open to receiving donations of old products
