I am an international graduate student at Rutgers University facing an urgent financial crisis while trying to complete my degree. I have worked tirelessly towards completing my Master’s degree in May 2026 (my current GPA = 3.5). But my inability to pay the remaining tuition will prevent me from graduating and put my future at risk.

To help me stay enrolled, I am requesting your generosity to cover my remaining tuition fees: $28,000 + approximately $1,100 in GoFundMe fees.

I started my degree with the help of an education loan. However, due to reasons mentioned below, I struggled to keep up with the minimum monthly interest payments, which resulted in the lender stopping my loan. I now carry a loan of $57,000 to this date, and I have to complete this degree and get a job to pay off that loan.

My father is in an advanced stage of diabetes and requires daily insulin injections to survive. Because of our financial situation, he often cannot afford his medication or hospital visits. His health is declining, and it has been heartbreaking to watch helplessly from far away.

At the same time, my sister is also facing a severe crisis. She was suddenly abandoned by her husband, who fled back to another country. She is now homeless, without income, and caring for her 3-year-old autistic daughter alone. I am the only emotional and financial support she has.

I myself am living in a shelter and working part-time jobs and odd jobs to pay for food, transport, and basic needs. Despite working as much as I can, studying, and trying to support my family, I am unable to meet this tuition cost. If I cannot pay this semester’s fee of $22,000 in December (rest $6,000 due in early 2026), I will be unable to continue my program — losing my only chance to get a degree, secure stable employment, and help my father, sister, and niece rebuild their lives.

Rutgers does not offer scholarships or financial aid for graduate students, and I have exhausted every option available to me. You are my last hope!
