Hello, I'm Fabien. I and my boyfriend, Shane, are subletting with friends. Unfortunately, we are being evicted by December 15th due to reasons outside our control, so we're in a tough position. I was recently fired from my job last week, right before Shane and I were set to move into an apartment of our own. On top of this, we needed to put my car into the shop for a second time to make my car pass an inspection in Maryland.

Despite my best efforts this past week and a half (Indeed, ZipRecruiter, running around town, chasing jobs friends suggested, etc.), I have been unable to find a job or even land an interview. I am currently limited to in-person work until we move when I'll have space and more options, but that doesn't help us right now.

That being said, Shane was able to find a second job, but that alone will not be enough to make both the down payment and first month's rent for the apartment. This past week, we were able to pay the down payment ($700) and hold the apartment, but we need help with the first month's rent. If we can get a little more to get the car fixed, we'd appreciate it, but for now, we need a place to live. That's why we're asking for $750 (including pet rent) by the 12th so I have time to get this to our landlord.
