Diane’s recovery journey!!
Donation protected
My youngest sister, Diane, has had an awful last few months. As most of you know, she broke her foot pretty badly back in November and had to have surgery on her foot. While doing her pre-operation surgery appointment, it was found that her heart wasn’t working properly and she needed open-heart surgery. That brings us up to now. On May 8th, she went into surgery, and it was said to have gone well. After surgery, we found out that she will need yet another surgery to repair the bottom of her heart. Something was wrong after surgery; she was in a medically induced coma, and at that time, she had a seizure and also a minor stroke. We learned also after the surgery that the bottom of her heart wasn’t functioning properly, so she will need a pacemaker too. On May 14, she will be taken to surgery to put in the pacemaker. None of this was expected, and she will need to continue care in the hospital. She is currently in Mayo Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota. Being that far away from home with food, gas, and motel stays, the cost along with the medical bills is overwhelming, to say the least. I am asking for donations to help her husband, David, to continue to be able to stay by his wife as she needs family support right now. If you know my sister and her husband, you know they won’t ask for help, but I am asking you for help. Anything will help them financially along with prayers for Diane. Please share this and donate if you’re able to. Thank you in advance!
Judy

Update ❤️
Diane is finally back home. Now for the recovery and healing ❤️. We are so thankful and happy to have her back home, close to her family and back with her fur babies ❤️. Although far from out of the woods she will be able to close to family in case anything would happen ( she has no shortage of nurses) We will continue to monitor her as she is recovering. She won’t be able to work, drive or do everything on her own for a while yet.
On behalf of her family we appreciate all your support and prayers! You all have been amazing!
