Hello! My name is Dani and I'm trying to raise money to help support my family. I'm a single mother of 2 and I'm extremely resourceful, but programs are full or they don't have funding. My vehicle went down a week ago, and my mechanic is saying it's the transmission. I was making my money solely through having my vehicle, so I'm unable to have it fixed. The buses in Detroit are not very reliable, and having a 9-year-old and a 4-year-old at different schools has proven difficult on public transportation, especially in the cold during a job search.

I have limited support from family, and I don't want to be a financial burden to those who have helped me before. I'm already behind on bills and need a vehicle so I can catch up so we can have the essentials such as water, lights, and gas.

I know it's the holiday season, and it's hard or has been difficult for a lot of people right now, so whatever you can give will help. I initially didn't want to have to create this fundraiser because everyone has their struggles, but everyone needs help from time to time, and I'm not too proud to not be able to ask for help if it'll help my children. After losing my father 2 years ago while me and my children were homeless and not having any support at all, a GoFundMe account I created helped me pay for our storage unit so me and my children wouldn't lose all my memories we created together and those of my dad. I thank God people had the heart to help then and I pray someone has the heart to help now.
