Hey...It's Cat and Matthew...

August was really a bad month for us - between saying goodbye to the Shadow Demon (my Covid Kitten) to dealing with car repairs to medical bills...and so on and so forth...it's been emotionally exhausting.

Even with the absolutely amazingly generous gifts and donations from Friends and Chosen Family, it cost over $4500.00 to take care of the Shadow Demon and then let him go, my own medical bill at a Emergency Doc In A Box, and car repairs and what little money we had went to those things and bills (Rent, Electric, Car Payment, Insurance, etc.)

Now...here we are...the Second of the Month...we've paid rent and the electric bill...but, making up the deficits of what we had for last month and looking at what we have to pay for this month...Matthew and I are drowning...we just don't have it.

I have to make a Tuition Payment ($550.00), a car payment ($400.00), water bill ($75.00), gas bill ($50.00), insurance ($228.00), and we haven't even bought groceries for this month yet...I just spent the last $25.00 I had to pay for gas so we can get to work the rest of the week.

What does all this boil down to? We need help...we really need help. I don't want to drop out of school (I have to maintain consistent enrollment, even if I'm not in classes, to maintain the Ph.D. Program) - I like water...and I like HOT water when I take a shower. We need to maintain our insurance because we're still paying for the car... and it would be nice to go buy groceries (especially Coffee...need more Coffee! LOL)

Anyway...I know that a lot of awesome Friends and Chosen Family stepped up and helped us in attempting to save the life of...and then saying goodbye to...my Demon Kitten...and I do not expect people to give more than they already have, but I thought I would give this a try and see if I can stay enrolled and buy some food things.
