Help Brian Get Back on the Road and Back on His Feet

If you lived in Tucson for a long time you might know Brian Thompson. He has been here since the early 1980s and he is the kind of guy who tries to help everybody. He fixes electronics for cheap, sometimes for free if someone is really in a tough spot. He is sober, kind, and just a good person to be around.

Brian has been living in his car for a few years. It is not ideal but he has made it work and he keeps working and doing jobs wherever he can. His car is basically his home and also how he gets to clients. Without it he cannot sleep safely or earn money.

Recently the transmission died. The car will not move anymore and now Brian is stuck. No way to get to work and no real place to live. It happened fast and now he has nothing stable under him at all.

The goal of this fundraiser is to help Brian either get a new transmission or get an affordable used vehicle. Something that runs and is safe so he can keep working and also have a roof over his head even if it is a car roof. He is not asking for anything fancy. He just wants a chance to keep going.
