Hiya dreamers.

I'm Alison, a 41-year-old trans woman living in the D.C. area. At the end of last year, I lost my job that had been very self-sustaining for my finances. For 4 months, I was unemployed, and in April, I finally managed to get a part-time job to try and regain footing. However, because I'm no longer making enough, I'm in dire need of money to just keep myself stable mentally and emotionally. As of writing this, I'm 2 and a half months behind on rent (for a total of about $4400), and if not for the kindness of folks like you donating, I'd be even farther behind.

I had a previous fundraiser going while I was out of work, but since then, a couple of things have improved (like getting my current part-time job and taking on my new name of Alison). I am still lacking financially, and it has constantly been causing me stress, as well as causing my depression and anxiety to constantly skyrocket.

I am setting up this new fundraiser for myself for the sake of those who couldn't use my other methods of donating, and as a way to update the information regarding where I am financially, mentally, and emotionally.

Please, if you can, I will greatly appreciate any donation, no matter how small, and I send thanks to everyone with my entire heart of gratitude. If I could, I would repay each of you tenfold for helping keep hope alive in me and in the faith that humanity isn't full of horribleness.
