Donate to Keep Alexis and Her Son United

Hello everyone! I am reaching out on behalf of my friend, Alexis and her precious, always smiling 6 month old boy. One year ago, she made some bad choices and was arrested and is now on probation. She found out in jail that she was pregnant and has continued to turn her life around to assure his wellbeing since that day. She was released from jail, moved straight into an Oxford House to ensure her recovery and her son’s health. Alexis immediately got a job but had her son two months after moving in to sober living. She got behind on her bills while on maternal leave but has been working after 6 weeks post partum. She is now current on her rent, has become the president of her house, even recently hit her ONE YEAR SOBRIETY, and is the most caring, nurturing mother I have had the privilege of knowing. Probation is the only obstacle holding her back. She has made payments but still owes $2,700 for probation to ensure she can continue to raise her son and prevent her from going back to jail.
