Through AA and NA, I have learned to ask for help. I have fallen behind on rent and am starting a job, which will be a career, next week. I have done everything in my power to stay sober for myself and my future. I am unashamed of my mess-ups in the past and just need a little help to catch up. A month ago, I graduated rehab at the Galilee Mission and was put in a sober house where it is $200 a week for a shared bedroom with 15 other guys. This is not a pity party, but life is hard, and living in a tent right now would suck. Next month, my grant kicks in, so in all reality, life could be a lot worse.
