Update: I start dog grooming next week, which is really good money. But just like any trade, you have to invest to make big bucks. I’m doing the best I can and will get back on my feet, I just gotta make sure I don’t lose my home in the mean time.

I really hate to even have to put my business out there like this. It’s really an awful feeling to get to this point.

In August, I got an apartment that was affordable for my partner (at the time) and me. In early October, I had to get him off the lease due to him being extremely abusive. This left me to pay all of the bills on my own: $1610 in rent and all my utilities. Up until last month, I’ve been able to pay my bills. I was forced to get a car in February because I could no longer rely on my coworkers for rides and there isn’t a bus route from my house. Now my paychecks barely cover my rent and car payment and I’m asking for some help now that I’ve fallen behind almost a month on my bills. I have reached out for rental assistance, and there isn’t a lot to apply for right now. I’m also in the middle of getting a roommate, but need to pay off the existing balance before doing so. I already go to the pantry for my groceries and my animals have plenty of food and litter. Anything helps! Thank you for your time.
