Our family is walking through a season we never expected. We are facing eviction from the place we’ve called home, with a deadline of December 21st to move out as things stand now. After that, we’ll stand before a judge and pray for a bit more time. In the midst of this upheaval, a door has opened: we’ve been approved for our first-time homebuyer loan, and we are currently in escrow. To close by January 15th, we need to pay $25,000.

Between attorney fees, the costs tied to the lawsuit, escrow expenses, and the enormous task of moving our livestock and our lives, it’s hard to see how we can carry it all. We feel caught between a rock and a hard place—torn between the reality before us and the calling we’ve poured our hearts into for many years.

As farmers, our deepest wish is to continue offering raw, honest, nourishing food to our community. The thought of having to sell our animals, to dismantle everything we’ve built with our hands and our hope, breaks us. And yet, God has opened a door: a home with wide-open pastures, room to grow, and the promise of a future where our family farm can finally thrive if we can financially make it happen. We decided to put our pride aside and ask for help.
