For those who don't know me, I'm Kaz! An 18 year old trans guy from California. I have bilateral cleft lip and palate which has affected my life in more ways than not. Due to this I've needed to undergo several surgeries since birth. Over the last year, I've been preparing for oral surgery to help get me back on track to get my cleft treated. I've underwent several dental procedures and braces to get to this point. The next procedure in my journey to fixing my cleft is to fix my jaw which includes removing all 4 wisdom teeth along with an extra tooth fragment. Unfortunately, this procedure maxed out my insurance for the rest of the year leaving me with $1,759 out of pocket to pay. I'm not in a financial situation where I can afford this on my own. Any support goes a long way. :)
