Hey everyone! My name is Kay. On July 29, I was involved in a rear-end accident which left my paid-off vehicle totaled. Because they did mark my car a total loss, I have been paying out of pocket for rentals since the day of my accident. I’ve already had surgery on August 22 for having 2 herniated discs from this accident.

Last night, September 17, at around 9 PM, I was driving on I-75 north to go get some food. Upon looking in my rearview mirror, I noticed a black car with no lights driving extremely fast, approaching me in the second left-hand lane. Because this driver was going so fast, he ended up clipping the back end of my rental car, causing my rental to flip and circle out of control over 7 to 10 times into the ditch/grass on the side of the highway. By the grace of God, I walked out with minor scratches and just back pain and head pain. This situation, as well as the last, has left me extremely traumatized and financially coming out of pocket personally for transportation. Because I’m already going through a current case for my first accident, I’m sure this process will be lengthy due to the fact that this was a hit-and-run. The driver did not stop and also hit another vehicle. Overall, I am grateful to be here, but truly in shock.
