This is Ryan and Kayla Crouse, they have been married for 6.5 years and have 5 cats and 2 dogs that are part of the family. Throughout the years they have stood by each others side while Kayla did Respiratory Therapy school and Ryan is now currently in Radiology school. They have also undergone fertility treatments and have only grown stronger. Now together they face their next challenge. Kayla is 27 years old and has been diagnosed with stage 3 cervical adenocarcinoma. The cancer has invaded the cervix, surrounding tissues and is also involved with the lymph nodes. Kayla will be undergoing an intense treatment plan that consists of 6 weeks of external radiation and chemotherapy, followed by 2 weeks of internal radiation. The external radiation will be daily treatments 5 days a week in jacksonville which is a long way for travel everyday. Kayla will not be able to work as much and help is needed for travel for treatments, treatment payments and groceries. Please consider, anything helps, including words of encouragement. Thank you all.
