My name is Katie. I've lived in Kansas my entire life. I have a bachelor's from Kansas State and a master's from The University of Alabama - Tuscaloosa. I currently work in a library.

All funds collected will go toward medical bills, medications, and transportation to and from appointments.

I have been in out patient treatment for anxiety and depression for over a year, and we have started cognitive treatment for Binge Eating Disorder.

I have a mysterious rash on my body that has taken over 85% of my body. It is extremely itchy and I have been scratching. This leaves sores and scabs on my body. It has not gotten better with any of the many creams, ointments and lotions I have been prescribed. I am now doing UV-B light therapy three times a week with full-body skin cancer scans every four weeks. I am scheduled out through March at this rate of treatment, but could take over a year with tapered rates. With a specialist copay, coinsurance, and high out of pocket max, and my insurance only adjusting the price by $25, I am not certain how I will be able to pay for this.

With my primary doctor, I have been diagnosed with high cholesterol and triglycerides and long with being pre-diabetic. This will add new medications.

All of the medications and treatments cost more than I have, after paying rent, utilities, and credit cards, each pay week.
