Donate to Kathy's Fight Against Multiple Cancers

My dear friend from high school, Kathy Mullins Jones, has been struggling with squamous cell carcinoma of the tonsils, which has metastasized to her throat. She has had numerous complications, including her lymph nodes not draining, numerous infections, and difficulty swallowing. This has led to her requiring a feeding tube. On top of all this, she found out on the 19th of June that she has another completely different type of cancer in her bladder. This will require surgery that is scheduled for July 7. The nearest treatment center from her home is 100 miles away, and if she needs chemo and/or radiation again, she may need to rent a room in Roanoke for several months. This will cost approximately $1,300 per month. The feeding tube formula and medication alone are costing her $900 a month now. Her medical bills are astronomical even before this upcoming surgery and treatment! Unfortunately, Kathy no longer has health insurance as she is unable to work.
