Hey. As many of you know, this is my mom, Kathryne Hasley. In April, she had a somewhat unexpected but mildly planned open heart valve replacement. Many avoidable complications landed her back on the table with another open heart surgery and weeks and weeks of more complications, antibiotics, and other procedures. With all this being said, she has been in the hospital since May 23rd. She has been out of work, and as we all know, bills don’t stop no matter what our bodies are doing. She will hate that I am doing this. If you know Mom at all, you know she gives and gives and will continue to pour even if her cup is empty. Although we are keeping her spirits high, she has a long while ahead of her without work and full of therapy and return to normalcy of health. Help me help my mom who would give you the shirt off her back, a hot meal, or a place to stay, but never her last Diet Coke.
