Hi, my name is Karen Bucur, and on February 4th, my life was turned upside down when I was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer.
Since my initial 11/2021 diagnosis, the disease has now spread outside of my solitary kidney to my abdomen and pelvis. In the face of this diagnosis, I've chosen to fight with everything I have - combining advanced immunotherapy and targeted therapy with a holistic and integrative approach to healing. This isn't just about surviving - this is about giving my body the best possible chance to heal, thrive, and beat this.
Alongside my oncology team, I'm working closely with an integrative medicine provider. My treatment plan includes:
- IV infusions of anti-cancer compounds like quercetin, curcumin, resveratrol, EGCG, and high-dose vitamin C
- Weber laser therapy to enhance cellular response
- Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)
- Thermofield hyperthermia therapy
- Plus nutritional support, emotional healing, and exercise to strengthen my body from the inside out
These therapies support and enhance the effectiveness of the immunotherapy and targeted treatments I receive from my oncology team.
The first 12 weeks of this integrative protocol alone cost around $80,000, and I need help to continue.
