Help Kamiree Heal: Support Her Recovery Journey
We’re reaching out with heavy hearts but hopeful spirits to ask for your help.
Kamiree is just 19 years old, a bright, passionate young woman with dreams of becoming a nurse. A year ago, she moved to St. Louis with her brother to chase those dreams and build a future centered around helping others. She’s always been full of life she loves music, dancing, and learning new things. Her smile lights up every room, and her determination has always been her superpower.
But her path was shaken on March 28, 2025, by a senseless act of violence. Kamiree was the victim of a tragic shooting and suffered two gunshot wounds one to her shoulder and one to her head. It’s a miracle that she survived, and we are endlessly grateful that she pulled through.
Thanks to the quick and compassionate care of the nurses, techs, and doctors at Barnes, Kamiree is still with us today. We are forever thankful for the medical team that helped save her life.
Kamiree has a road of rehabilitation ahead, including both physical and emotional recovery. At 19, she’s showing more strength and resilience than most ever have to, but she needs our support now more than ever.
We are raising $30,000 to help cover the overwhelming medical expenses, ongoing rehab, and the day to day costs that come with recovery. Every dollar helps, and every share spreads the light a little further.
If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing Kamiree’s story. Your love, prayers, and support mean the world to us.
Let’s rally around Kamiree and show her just how loved and supported she is. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
With love,
Coleman Family
