Pride is no longer in the picture for us… our Kalli is going through extensive chemotherapy due to being diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma cancer.

She is only 10 years old, but one of the strongest kids you’ll ever meet. The news of her cancer diagnosis was heartbreaking but she has taken everything with a positive attitude. Through her surgeries, to chemo and all the test, she is still a bubbly, smiling little girl. We have a long journey ahead of us, to say the least.

Resources have literally been dwindling to nothing in an incredibly fast timeframe. About the same time of her diagnosis, her father was laid off from work. It literally couldn’t have happened at a worse time.

Trust me when I say, this is one of the hardest things we have ever had to do, but we need help.

Traveling back and forth between Lurie’s Children’s Hospital and blood work appointments, etc., all over the Chicagoland area, on top of unexpected medical needs coming from every direction, we are being stretched very thin.

Everything from gas to medical supplies, to food and all in between has become so expensive.
