Hi everyone, my name is Kailyn, and I’m currently a full-time student working toward my degree while taking on an especially rigorous schedule. The program I’m enrolled in is 18 credits per quarter, with classes running from 5 PM to 9 PM every night. On top of that, I’ll be starting my Teaching Assistant (TA) position this winter — something I’m incredibly proud of and excited for, but it will also make my schedule even more demanding.

Between school, TA responsibilities, and trying to stay focused on my education, having reliable transportation has become a major need. Right now, getting to and from classes, work, and daily responsibilities is extremely difficult without a car. I’ve been saving as much as I can, but with rent and other living expenses, it’s been hard to get enough together on my own.

I’m creating this GoFundMe to ask for help raising funds for a used car — something dependable that can get me through these next few years as I finish school and begin my professional journey.
