Donate to Kady's Recovery and Medical Expenses

Hello, my name is Amanda, and I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friend, Kady. Kady fell off a haystack in 2023, and then again last summer in 2024, severely shattering the small bones in her wrist that helps with motion. A lot of time has passed since then, so Kady has suffered from extreme blood loss to the bone, as well as pinched nerves. Now Kady needs four-corner fusion surgery. The surgeon is going to have to remove part of Kady's scaphoid bone, and then fuse the lunate, capitate, triquetrum, and hamate bones, to the radius bone. Kady will also have to have nerve testing prior to surgery. Kady will be immobilized, and in a cast, anywhere from 6-8 weeks after her surgery. Then she will have to go to physical therapy to help restore the function in her wrist and hand, anywhere from 8-16 weeks after her surgery. Unfortunately, Kady's insurance is only going to cover a portion of the cost of her surgery. Without this surgery, Kady will suffer from arthritis, decreased function, loss of range of motion, and wrist pain. I am trying to help raise money for the portion of Kady's surgery that isn't going to be covered, as well as nerve testing, physical therapy, post-op care, travel expenses to Coeur d'Alene for surgery, and any other bills she acquires from this procedure. I would also like to help her cover her personal expenses during her recovery time, since she will be out of work. The recovery is long, and the costs are overwhelming. Any words of encouragement or financial help would be greatly appreciated to get her through this tremendously difficult time.
