My name is Angela, and my brother Justin has metastatic brain cancer. Seeing that sentence in the written word is devastating and incredibly heartbreaking, but that is our new reality.

Justin was diagnosed with stage 4 rectal cancer along with metastatic liver cancer in 2023 and he has been fighting ever since. His treatments have included intense radiation, biweekly chemotherapy for a full year, and a nearly 13-hour surgery which landed him in the ICU for several days barely able to breathe. Justin has been hospitalized since June 21st and he is unable to work to support his family. Medical bills and insurance are piling up and the last round of donations have been used to keep them afloat.

Justin just celebrated his 7-year wedding anniversary to his beautiful, strong, and devoted wife, Debra who is a school teacher and all around rockstar. Their smart and adorable son, Alexander turns 1 on August 1st, but Justin will be celebrating this milestone in the hospital. My brother is fighting to get home to his wife, son, and their pup, Apollo.
