Hi, I’m Jakob and I’m raising on behalf of my partner’s cat, Juniper.
She unfortunately got hold of a metre long piece of string and ate it. We were quickly told that such a thing is very serious for cats, as it can knot once it reaches the intestines and cause severe issues leading to death without surgery.
The estimated cost of the surgery + the overnight stay and medication will come to £3500. Her insurance only covers £1000 of this. Hattie and I get by, but such a steep cost is a severe hit to our finances. We do not expect that the whole cost will be covered through this platform, but any little would help immensely.
June is a sweet, 6 year old softie, and is dearly loved by us both.
