Hi, my name is Kara, and I’m creating this fundraiser for my daughter, Juliet. Earlier this year, Juliet was diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer, and our world turned upside down.

She recently underwent surgery at Huntsman Cancer Institute in Utah (10/22/25) to remove her thyroid and surrounding tissue. The surgery went well, but her pathology showed vascular invasion, which means she now needs to go through a second surgery (11/17/25) to ensure everything cancerous is removed and to give her the best chance at long-term health.

Juliet is only 27, a new mom to her beautiful baby girl, Della, and she’s handled every step of this with incredible strength and grace. But this journey has been emotionally and financially heavy. Traveling several hours from Idaho to Utah for her care, paying for gas, lodging, and meals away from home — all while her husband takes time off work to care for her and baby Della — has quickly added up.

I’m hoping to ease some of the financial stress so Juliet can focus on healing and being the amazing mother she is.

Donations will go directly toward:

• Travel expenses for her medical trips to Huntsman Cancer Institute

• Lodging during her hospital stay and recovery

• Lost income while her husband takes care of her and their baby

• Ongoing medical bills and post-surgery care
