I’m reaching out during an incredibly challenging time for my family and me. Our home was devastated by Hurricane Milton, which brought relentless winds and catastrophic flooding. We experienced four feet of water inside our home, resulting in the loss of all our personal belongings. Despite my best efforts to salvage what I could, the destruction left behind is overwhelming.

Currently, I am out of work and struggling to make ends meet. The cleanup process has been exhausting, requiring me to remove insulation and drywall to prevent further mold damage. This has taken a significant toll not only on my finances but also on my mental and emotional well-being.

I live in Punta Gorda where water damage from the surge affected my place where I live. the funds will be spent on my personal bills helping me recover from loss wages since I am in the process of cleaning up the water damage that Hurricane Milton caused to our living space.
