Julie was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021. After undergoing treatment, she experienced a period of remission and remained hopeful that her battle was behind her. Unfortunately, this past summer, she received the devastating news that the cancer had returned and progressed to her bones. This diagnosis of metastatic bone cancer was confirmed after increasing symptoms led to further imaging and evaluation.

During this difficult time, Julie met Tony, whom she describes as the partner she had been searching for her entire life. Their connection has been a source of strength and comfort throughout her journey.

Julie was later admitted to Hospice care; however, she has since been discharged, allowing her additional time with those she loves. Tony has brought Julie into his home, where he now provides full-time care with the support of in-home Hospice services. Due to the extensive care Julie requires, Tony has been unable to maintain his regular work schedule.
