I want to reach out to family and friends about a situation I became aware of a few months ago. My ex-wife Julie was diagnosed with breast cancer and has been dealing with that with good nature and a positive attitude. She chose to undergo a double mastectomy and seems to be recovering fine. I've talked to the kids a few times about the whole issue, and they have a good understanding of what's happening and are optimistic and supportive.
