Hello All,

Julia, my best friend and mother to a one-year-old son named Dixon, was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer in December 2024. Throughout her treatments, Julia has shown determination, strength, and resilience.

She has completed 8 IV chemotherapy treatments. Next, she will undergo pill chemotherapy for 4-6 weeks, three times daily, and localized radiation five times a week, followed by two surgeries: one to remove the affected tumor and lymph nodes and place a colostomy bag, and another to remove the bag after 4-6 weeks of healing. Her doctor's plans and prognosis are encouraging at 80-90% due to her age.

This situation is likely to impact their family financially because her husband Steven is the sole provider of the household. Friends and the little family she has are working together to support them during this time of need. However, due to treatment costs and insurance limitations, we’re at the point of asking for help towards chemotherapy, radiation, MRIs, CT scans, and surgeries.
