Donate to Juan Alzate's Healing and Rehabilitation

Juan Alzate is the epitome of dedication and dependability when it comes to his over 30 years of experience in the tape business, which is why when he did not show up to work we knew something had to be wrong. Juan suffered a stroke that has resulted in him being paralyzed on the left side of his body and unable to see clearly. Luckily, he’s able to recognize his loved ones and friend’s voices as he starts his healing journey in the hospital.

Juan has the best sense of humor and the ability to make machine operating fun. Work was his life; he is one of the most dedicated employees that has spent nearly 16 years at STM. When there’s an issue with his machines Juan takes it personally and is genuinely upset that he is not able to continue to push-out products before eventually figuring it out. He genuinely cares about this business and his work on a level that is above most, which is why his team mates always refer to him as THE JUAN. He’s the Juan you need around to lead a team in making a great product and solving any issue on the coating line. That can easily sum up the reasons behind why Juan calls his team members his best friends.

After a brief stint as a security guard when doing his rounds, he missed a large hole that someone was using to break into the building, so we can safely bet that Juan was always meant for the tape business and he made a long term career for himself. He’s also a loving father who loves to play video games and sometimes even catch a wrestling match with his son. Juan is the kind of guy that would always apologize for asking a question or “interrupting” when asking for help when the truth always was that Juan has helped so many people in some way that we want to return the favor and help support him through this long journey ahead in recovering. All of the funds that we raise will go straight to his hospital and other medical bills as well as the rehabilitation center that he will be heading to.

We would like to ask anyone that sees this to please consider donating to help support Juan’s recovery that will put an added strain on him once he’s out of the hospital. He’s a wonderful human that’s been working hard in manufacturing his whole life that could really use some extra support. Truly any amount counts – from just a few dollars to hundreds. Thank you SO much for your consideration and if anything – thoughts and prayers are absolutely welcome!
