Donate to Joyce's Fight Against Crohn's Disease

Dear Friends, Family and Supporters,

I am writing to you today with a heartfelt plea on behalf of my dear friend, Audrey, whose mom, Joyce Gonzalez, is bravely battling Crohn's disease. Joyce’s relentless illness has taken a severe toll on her health, leading to constant pain, fatigue, numerous hospital visits and surgeries.

This past May, Joyce was rushed to the E.R and hospitalized due to a bowel obstruction in her lower intestine. There she went through three emergency surgeries in order to remove and treat all areas that had been infected by her Crohn’s Disease.

Prior to her hospitalization, she had become extremely malnourished as she was not able to stomach solids for several weeks. She had loss a good amount of blood, became Anemic, and overall had low vitals making her chances of survival very slim. Currently, over a month and a half later, she is still in the hospital trying to recover. The overall success and outcome of her surgeries are still uncertain, but we are all hoping for the best and taking it day by day.

Joyce has always been a fighter despite having dealt with an aggressive case of Crohn’s Disease. She has always had a zest for life and a fearless spirit to live life to its fullest!

Unfortunately, healthcare is not cheap and the ongoing medication, treatments, and further potential procedures and surgeries have become financially taxing. Managing these needs have made it difficult to maintain a sense of normalcy and stability. We are reaching out to seek support to help alleviate the strain of these expenses and provide Joyce with the necessary resources to focus on healing. Your generous donations can help bridge this gap, allowing Joyce to access essential care and support during this difficult time.
