Hi everyone,

My name is Rita Kwakye, and I’m fundraising for my little brother, Joshua Cummings, who recently lost his right foot in a freak accident that turned our world upside down.

What started as an ordinary day quickly became every family’s worst nightmare. Joshua was involved in a terrible accident that resulted in the loss of his right foot. He’s currently in the hospital recovering and showing incredible strength and courage, but his journey is only just beginning.

Joshua has always been full of life: a kind, funny, and hardworking young man who lights up every room he walks into. He loves playing sports, spending time with family, and working with his hands, and it breaks our hearts to see him facing this unimaginable challenge. Still, if you know Joshua, you know he’s a fighter, and we believe with your love and support, he can overcome this.

We are raising funds to help cover:

• Ongoing hospital and surgery expenses

• Rehabilitation and physical therapy

• A prosthetic foot to help Joshua walk again

• Home accessibility adjustments and mobility equipment

• Transportation and other recovery-related costs
