There are never any words that can start the reason to start a GoFundMe. On Tuesday, June 3rd, Joshua Smit made the choice to take his own life. He suffered from mental illness that I don’t think anyone will ever fully understand. His parents, siblings, family, and friends loved him more than he will ever truly know.

At a time where this family has already suffered so much loss and hardship, they yet again have to move through this horrible nightmare. I’m reaching out to family, friends, friends of friends, and strangers to help a family in such tremendous need. Not only do they need help financially, but they need so much love too. Anything that they get will go to helping with the memorial for Josh, any medical expenses, and other expenses that arise in these cases.
