Donate to Jose's Shoe Customization Journey

Hi, my name is Jose. In the past year, I have been modifying, customizing, or cleaning shoes. I started this journey last year in response to falling into a deep depression and landing in the hospital, which left me with a lot to think about. I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, which I have been controlling with diet and no assistance of medication. But depression still had a hold of me, and I needed a recourse. So, I started customizing shoes.

Since April of 2024, I have touched at least 100 pairs of shoes, maybe more. During that time, I had support from many of you, and I have been grateful and appreciative of it. The smiles made it worth it for me. The biggest question that was asked was, "When are you getting a store?" My reply is I don't know. I didn't know because I didn't have a plan. Now I do, and to be honest, it's a bit of a reach for me. I Need help.

My goal has always been to recycle and upcycle shoes through art. That's first and foremost. But in order to do so, I need a run of supplies to get most of the work done. And I have been also researching for an estore to get that ball rolling as well. I have been able to find a supplier locally so that pricing stays low.

Helping me with donations of 5, 10, 15 dollars would be great. But I'll sweeten the pot for you. For those that donate 25 dollars and up I will clean a pair of shoes for you.

Anyone that donates 100 dollars or more I will clean and customize a pair of shoes, or build, or recraft you a pair of shoes from scratch.
