Joseph is a beloved brother in the Lord that fears God and and shuns evil. He has been a close friend for a long time and has oft refreshed me in the Lord. With bowels of mercies, this is an attempt to raise funds for him to help him in this difficult trial.

Now follows Joseph's history:

Hi my name is Joseph. I'm a single diabetic man living in California. I moved here seven years ago to help cope with extreme neuropathy pain.

Two years ago I had a botched surgery on my hand which has resulted in scar tissue accumulation and increasing pain.

I started a home renovation project to make my house ADA compliant so that I can survive as my mobility slowly begins to decline. My contractor did tens of thousand dollars worth of damage to my home, performed unnecessary works, and practically fled the scene while still demanding payment. All of the work he did had to be re-done. Now I cannot afford to install flooring or a functional bathroom.

On account of all of this, I had to cancel a very important scar-revision multi-plasty surgery due to insufficient current funds.

I am afraid that my house that is in the middle of renovation and very dusty will cause an infection due to my poor health, circulation, diabetes, and immune system. Due to these living circumstances my health is negatively impacted and could also potentially jeopardize my job. Because of my disability and the state of my house, I can also not afford to move.

I am asking in genuine Christian humility for help. I acknowledge that my Friend-Sovereign whose name is Jehovah has brought all of these things upon me in his love for me according to his good pleasure.

If the Lord, our faithful God, should move you to help me in my burden and distress, I shall be exceedingly thankful.
