Hi, my name is Brittany, and I am collecting money for my long-time friend's daughter, Josephine.

Josephine is the typical 19-year-old girl; she loves her family, her fiancé, and is starting out her life on her own. On April 10th, tragedy struck, and she was hit on a crosswalk on her way to work by a pickup truck.

She was airlifted from her town of Show Low, AZ, to Flagstaff, where they were better equipped to deal with a critical patient. Upon arrival, they discovered a skull fracture, several brain bleeds, and a collapsed lung, all that needed emergent surgery. While doing her trach, they discovered her other lung was also collapsed, and now after receiving a shunt that has since been taken out, they are discovering she will need a third surgery and will be transferred to Phoenix. Since her arrival, she has been in a medically induced coma, intubated, and her vitals constantly monitored.

Her mother, Richelle, has been in constant hell, by her side 12 hours a day, praying for her daughter to wake up. She has only got to see Josephine's two younger siblings, her children, on the weekends as they are both still in school. She hasn't been able to work. Her fiancé, Aiden, has to work and hasn't been able to see her. This money will pay for them to both see her, help her mom be in two places at once, and possibly fly her father out to help from Ohio. It can cover hotels, medical bills, and living expenses for the whole family for lost wages.
