Hi, my name is Erica Yvonne. This is my dad, Jorge Silva. Yesterday, I received a text from my dad no daughter wants to receive. He said he felt like he was having another heart attack (he had one 10+ years ago ). Thankfully, my daughter was there and rushed him to the ER.

This morning, he had a cardio angiogram done to see where the blockage is coming from. We prayed for good news that he'd only need to replace his stents. Unfortunately, the blockage is worse than we thought; therefore, he will be needing open heart surgery, with a recovery time of 8+ weeks. That's not including getting back to his daily routine, which takes up to 3 months.

When he heard the news, all he could think of was not being able to work and the stress that comes with it. I'm asking all my friends and loved ones if y'all can come together and give whatever you can. It will mean a lot to my family. Most importantly, if you can't give, please keep him in your prayers with the upcoming surgery. ❤️‍ Thank you.
