"My son Johnny Boy was recently injured in an unfortunate incident , and our family is rallying around him during this tough time. Currently still in ICU. Due to his injuries, he's facing a long road to recovery, which means lost wages and mounting medical expenses. We're organizing a fundraiser to help ease some of the financial burdens, allowing us to focus on his care and rehabilitation. Gofundme for John "JohnnyBoy" Gomez, who was critically shot and wounded when guns were fired at a High School party at the 7800 block of Beauvais Drive. The house renters, a married couple, one of whom is a CCISD elementary teacher, and parents of a cheerleader who threw the party, were issued a citation by CCPD for "Furnishing/Purchasing Alcohol to a Minor". Two teens were shot at this party that these adult tenants should never have encouraged. Teens from all over CCISD heard about the house party from a digital flyer openly distributed by the cheerleader who lived at the rental house. Johnny Boy and his mother are now inhibited from working due to John's surgery and convalescance. He will not be able to work for the foreseeable future. While we wait for CCPD to hopefully arrest and indict the house party throwers and find the shooters, the families of these two young men need all the help they can get.
