Donate to John Wall's Medical and Living Expenses

My name is Wayne Wall. I am setting up a GoFundMe page for my brother, John Wall, to help with his expenses related to his heart attack earlier this year and the more recent diagnosis of Guillain-Barré Syndrome. He has been hospitalized numerous times since early this year. He had to have five stents put in following the heart attack. The surgeons wanted to do open-heart bypass surgery but were unable to because he wasn't strong enough.

He tried going back to work in May but was exposed to COVID on his first day back and ended up in the hospital ICU with pneumonia. He was extremely weak and spent some time in skilled rehab after he was released from the hospital. Then came July. In July, due to his weakened immune system, John was stricken with a rare neurological disorder called Guillain-Barré Syndrome. As a result, he has lost most of his ability to walk. He has undergone immunotherapy and lots of physical therapy, but still, he continues to fall a lot.

He tried going back to work teaching school this semester, but on the first day, he ended up on the floor and had to have assistance from other teachers getting back into a chair and then had to be driven home. He was told not to return to work until he was cleared by a doctor. He is back in the hospital at the time I am writing this due to another fall that resulted in a broken clavicle. He has been out of sick days for quite some time now. His personal funds are depleted. His rent and car payments are now past due due to his inability to return to work. He is trying to get on disability but needs some immediate help to keep from losing his car and being evicted from his apartment. Any amount will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!
