Donate to Joel Olmos' Medical and Family Support

Hello, my name is Rosalinda. I am here on behalf of my nephew who is only 20 years old. His name is Joel Olmos. We got the worst news. He had been in pain for about a month. Didn't think anything of it, until March 16, 2025, his pain became unbearable. His mom took him to the E.R. in Twin Falls, ID. There they could not get the correct imaging to see what was wrong, so they transferred him to Boise, Idaho. There they were able to see what was causing his pain. He got diagnosed with stage 3 cancer, lymphoma. They began his chemotherapy there in Boise and waited to see if he had any reaction. He did good, so they released him to go home and continue his chemotherapy for the next 6 months in Twin Falls, Idaho. Unfortunately, he was not able to reach his 2nd treatment due to a sudden seizure, which led to rushing him into the E.R. once again in Twin Falls. After evaluation, they transferred him to Boise, Idaho again. There they rushed him in and had him in ICU for a few days while they ran tests to see what could've caused this seizure. He was unable to speak; he just kept waving his arms all over, so they had to sedate him to calm his nerves. They finally got an answer, which resulted in my nephew suffering from a swelled brain. While monitoring him, he finally woke up after the medication they gave him helped and is now able to talk. He does not understand or recall anything from the day the seizure hit him to now, so they want to keep him there until he can regain his memory. He is unable to go back to work due to his diagnosis.

I am here to ask for donations to help with his medical bills and support for his baby girl who is 3 years old.
