Recently, my mother JJ Jones underwent an emergency surgical procedure to treat a large brain aneurysm.

While on a trip back home with family to celebrate her daughter's birthday, she suddenly experienced significant complications with her vision and was rushed to the ER by her children. After some scans, the doctors discovered two bilateral aneurysms and she was promptly flighted to University of Missouri's neurological ICU, where early the following morning she underwent lifesaving surgery. She spent a total of 4-5 days in hospital care.

Now in recovery, JJ and our family are extremely thankful to have her home. It was a very scary experience for all, and we are blessed to still have her with us! She now faces years of regular scans, treatments, and subsequent medical bills. With her support, we are launching this fundraiser to help relieve some financial tension so she can focus on the rest and recovery she needs.
