We are reaching out to share the story of our sister, Jessica. She is not only a sister to us but a cherished friend, a dedicated daughter, a wonderful mother, and an amazing interior designer. Recently, Jessica's life took an unexpected turn when she was diagnosed with rectal adenocarcinoma. As if this wasn't enough, there is now a concern about a possible neoplasm of the uterus or ovaries, adding to the complexity and urgency of her situation.

Jessica's journey has been overwhelming and filled with numerous visits to specialists, countless imaging tests, and consultations to determine the best course of action. The current treatment options include chemotherapy, radiation, and potentially a rectum resection with permanent colostomy placement. Each option carries its own set of challenges and financial burdens, and Jessica is facing them with remarkable strength and courage.

Why We Need Your Help

As Jessica continues to fight this battle, the medical bills are piling up, and the costs are becoming insurmountable. From specialist consultations to imaging tests, lab tests, future chemotherapy sessions, and possible surgeries, the expenses are overwhelming. We are hoping to raise $15,000 to help cover these medical costs, alternative "non-covered" treatments, and to ensure she meets her high out-of-pocket deductible. Unfortunately, our healthcare system doesn’t offer the best health insurance for self employed individuals, and a lower monthly premium means a higher deductible. Your donations will support Jessica through this difficult time and help to alleviate the stress and financial worry.
