Hey y’all, my name is Jessica James. In 2024, during my yearly mammogram checkup, there were two spots found in my right breast that were a concern. I had a biopsy done and found out that it was cancer. In 2025, I had a lumpectomy done in hopes of removing the cancer spots. During the surgery, they found out that I had more cancer than expected. Now, I’m in the process of waiting for my oncologist to schedule me for the mastectomy and reconstruction surgery.

I can truly say that I am grateful that the cancer was caught early and I am able to get things under control. However, being told that you have cancer and the financial burden can be overwhelming.
