My name is Abby and I am starting this fundraiser for the best Unk (uncle) Ever, Jesse Paynter.  

Jesse was recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer and our family is now facing overwhelming challenge of medical costs and basic day to day changes. 

The Full Story:

In July Unk passed out while at a farmers market in Davison. A night in the hospital and no answers. Jesse then began experiencing trouble swallowing along with coughing and stomach pain. After numerous tests, doctors delivered the life-changing news.  Cancer. 

This news has been a shock to everyone who knows and loves him.  

Jesse will be starting 3 weeks of chemotherapy, then surgery and another 3 weeks of chemotherapy.   The journey ahead is long, stressful and difficult. Promising though uncertain. 

The funds raised will be used to cover:

• Hospital bills and ongoing treatments.

• Specialized medication not covered by insurance.

• Special foods that help him be able to swallow and stay strong and build his immunity. 

• Income loss from not being able to keep the business going as usual. 

Your generous donation will help ease this enormous financial burden so we can focus on Jesse’s recovery.
