Please Help Support One Of Our Dear Friends Jesse in her Fight against Cancer!

My name is Brian Bynon and I am using this platform to request thoughts, prayers and financial assistance for my former co-worker and dear friend Jesse who has been bravely battling stage 3 triple negative breast cancer since February 1st, 2024. Despite enduring multiple rounds of chemo and radiation over the past 13 months with limited success, Jesse's resilience shines through., She recently underwent a radical mastectomy at Vanderbilt Hospital, where surgeons removed cancerous tissues, including affected lymph nodes and a portion of her pectoral muscle intertwined with the disease. This procedure, though necessary, has impacted her left arm's mobility and led to lymphedema in her arm and hand. Following surgery, Jesse underwent rigorous radiation therapy for 5 weeks and embarked on an additional chemotherapy regimen with Xeloda to target any remaining cancer cells. Jesse's unwavering courage and determination in the face of such challenges are truly inspiring.

Last Christmas, she discovered a new lump under her arm, a recurrence in the same spot where one had been removed during surgery. The cancer reappeared in her lymph nodes within three months following her surgery. Following a positive biopsy in January, she is currently undergoing Trodelvy treatment. A recent full-body scan revealed concerning lumps in her lungs, potentially elevating her condition to stage 4 cancer pending confirmation at her upcoming scan this May.

I am starting this fundraiser to support Jesse, a dear friend facing significant challenges. Due to her condition, as well as facing future surgeries and treatments, Jesse is unable to work at this time. The inability to afford COBRA coverage, which previously provided medical insurance through her employer, has placed her in a bit of a financial predicament. Jesse is a cherished individual, loved by all who know her, and I am reaching out to the community to offer assistance during this difficult time. #Jesse’s_Fight

Jesse, an avid outdoor enthusiast, finds solace in activities like hiking, camping, and simply being in nature. Despite facing challenges with energy levels and multiple side effects due to cancer treatments, Jesse maintains a positive outlook and cherishes the moments she can spend outdoors. Her resilience shines through as she looks forward to a future where she can fulfill her dream of visiting Glacier National Park in Montana once she conquers the hurdles of surgeries and treatments.

Jesse embodies positivity and resilience, radiating a constant ray of sunshine even amid life's storms. Despite facing challenges from her diagnosis to health-related employment changes, she continues to uplift others with her infectious laughter and unwavering optimism. Her ability to bring joy to those around her, even though simple interactions, is a testament to her unwavering spirit and ever-present smile.
