Jerry was in a motorcycle accident on August 24. He was on a road trip with a few friends and family when the accident happened in New Mexico. Initially, things seemed fine but quickly declined. Even though he had a helmet on, he suffered some pretty significant head trauma. He's had to have a couple of surgeries up to this point, with at least one more to come. For now, he is being monitored in the neurosurgery ICU while they handle his treatment and care.

Sheila is a long way from home as she awaits the slow progression of his healing. There have been many who have asked how they can help. There is extra expense in lodging, travel, and daily care for the time being, but we know there will be more as the medical expenses build and other treatments will be required in his journey in healing. We feel all of the love and prayers and are so grateful for the support we've received.
