Update 7/30- Jerry went back to Hackensack hospital this morning. The doctors inserted a pick line and gave him a high dosage of chemotherapy. Jerry handeled the treatment well today. Side effects can possibly start 4 days after. Tomorrow July 31, Jerry will start the stem Cell replacement. Let’s keep Jerry in our thoughts and prayers.
Update: Jerry was released from hospital on July 19th from having the stem cells removed.
Next steps: Jerry goes for bloodwork on Friday, July 26th. Jerry will then report back to Hackensack on Tuesday, July 31st to start the transplant. The length of stay at the hospital is unknown at this time.
Hello, I’m Sharon Higgins and I am supporting my cousin, Jerry Quick, along with his sisters in raising funds to support Jerry and his wife (my sister in law) financially as he battles cancer.
As many know, Jerry was diagnosed with multiple myeloma back in January. Jerry has been undergoing chemotherapy and radiation since his diagnosis. Most recently, Jerry is hospitalized in Hackensack University Hospital for stem cell replacement.
If you are able to contribute to Jerry to help him financially with medical bills, food and mortgage in this time of need would be greatly appreciated.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Dianna and Jerry as they fight this battle.
