Jerome & Anna Walls are a local musical duo who have played all over the Birmingham area.

Four years ago, after recovering from a major forklift accident, Jerome developed bladder cancer during COVID. Since that time, he has established a Handyman company with some success.

Anna, a lifelong horse trainer, has recently stepped back to pursue other interests.

Recently, she has suffered with Esophageal Verices and was admitted to SICU due to internal bleeding.

While Anna was in SICU, Jerome was informed during his own routine follow up examination that two more bladder tumors had been discovered.

He required emergency surgery that happened on the day Anna was released.

She has had multiple trips to the hospital since.

Both are trying to recover as medical bills are mounting.

She is unable to work while he is trying to maintain a one man construction business while still caring for the horses and farm.

Anna is now resting at home in comfort and Jerome has completed the first round of chemo while awaiting the results on Jan 20th. Both Jerome & Anna have to have monthly scopes at $1800 a piece. This will be ongoing permanently.
